Below are the various ways that 'caring' is excercised by the members and friends of hcf. Caring for people within the church is mainly channelled through “Harvest Groups”. Each church member is part of a small group that is led by a church leader and meets in its members’ homes weekly. The church is pastored by Colin Cooper and Sue Cooper.
At HCF we accept a responsibility to provide help and support to needy parts of our community. We can’t limit our interest and love for the people to the church but we aim to reflect the amazing love of God in our local communities.
Huddersfield Christian Fellowship has been priviledged to build relationships with many churches across the world. HCF has sought to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, but also to demonstrate the practicality of the gospel by caring for the individual churches and their leaders. This is done through 'meeting the need' at that time and in that place. Consequently, needs are met through financial giving, provision of ministries,(training in praise & worship) and sending builders, electricians and workers. |
