A Huddersfield Church - HCF Pastor Colin Cooper | Thanks for visiting the HCF website! | HCF is a UK Huddersfield Church that caters for youth, children and adults! As I travel across the nations and see different cultures and ways of life, one thing is the same all over the world and that is the human heart, which is basically destructive. So my friends in the coming year keep your heart free from offences and this allows the joy of the Lord to permeate all our lives. Have a God filled happy year, and remember, how we live our short life on earth determines our eternal purpose. Have fun and I hope to see you soon. Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper-Senior Pastors. |

The development is close to where the new HCF church in Huddersfield will be built. This will place the HCF property in an influencial position for the future. It is beyond question one of the biggest projects ever devised for the town. Perhaps we have to go back to the Piazza scheme for something of comparative impact. colin cooper- pastor | | | | Visiting the Local Area | Members meet weekly in a harvest group (sometimes known as a care goup). The more intimate setting allows us to get to know the needs of individuals better and look after them accordingly. If one of the members of the group is taken ill for example, have bereavement in the family or have a happy addition to the family – meals are automatically provided. A number of single parents and people in financial need also receive food parcels regularly from the church. Whether a DIY SOS or some gardening is needed, we try to be here for our members in any way we can. Huddersfield Christian fellowship has been priviledged to build relationships with many churches across the world. HCF has sought to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, but also to demonstrate the practicality of the gospel by caring for the individual churches and their leaders. Pastor Colin Cooper has relationships with many church leaders across the globe, and initiates vists form teams at HCF. | MFE Ministers Fellowship Europe |

At HCF we pay a great deal of attention to our children. Not only do we recognise them as 'the future' but we also see the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the Bible through creative activities and constructive games. We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated workers under the leadership of Derek & Charlotte Davis working under the pastors Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper. | Students Huddersfield University | HCF have always provided support to those students who have chosen to have the church as their place of worship whilst in Huddersfield University. In fact, students bring a much appreciated youthfulness and vigour to our services, as well as much fun and excitement. This benefits the non-denominational approach, by the university. HCF provides a range of support services for the students from Huddersfield University, recognising the importance of helping them establish new relationships, find new accommodation and deal with the issues of moving to a new location. Tim and Grace Pegg are responsible for the Students care Ministry. If you need to contact them please click here. | | | | Musicians and worship teams | The choice and quality of musicians allows four 'worship teams' to work in rotation, producing quality, fresh and exciting worship for the congregation. The choice of musicianship ranges from Cello to Cornet, from saxaphone to flute and from trombone to trumpet. Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper | | | | New building development | The proposed site for the new church building is off St Thomas’ Road in Huddersfield, on the site of a former engineering works, approximately 500m from the town centre. The 3.7 acre site has been flattened and is level, providing good access along its length, being highly visible from the busy junction at Foley Hall. The design for the site makes allowance for 250 cars, entering the site from a central entrance and exit. A service road runs behind the building, with an additional exit for articulated lorries, and emergency access to the site. The layout also provides circulation for bus and coaches, with dedicated accessible parking close to the front of the building. A substantially soft landscape area is provided to the main boundary to St Thomas’ Road softening the existing sterile atmosphere of this side of the town. This compliments the step embankment to the back of the site which is substantially planted with trees. | | | | Help for Students | HCF have been providing support and help to students over many years. Find out about our free student lunch on a Sunday, and other activities. Students enjoy fellowship and as it is non-denominational it allows them to bring friends from different faiths. Last year we organised a “Ladies Day” in an attempt to bless the women of Huddersfield from diverse backgrounds through this practical gesture of a day of free pampering. For one Saturday we transformed the main church hall into a beauty parlour, using the professionals in the church to provide treatments such as manicures, pedicures, make-up consultation and massages free of charge. We also had racks of clothes freely available and various fun activities to keep the children occupied while the mothers were being pampered. The HCF Care Team's main purpose is to make sure that people coming through our doors for the first time are welcomed and cared for in a genuine and loving way. It can be very intimidating walking into a large church for the first time and not knowing anyone or knowing where to sit. Liam & Denise Cox are responsible for the training and management of the HCF CARE TEAM.Under the guidience of Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper. All new people are important to us and we want them to leave HCF feeling loved and important, so we team them up with someone from the Care Team to show them around, answer any questions and make them feel welcome. The HCF Care Team is made up of over 80 people within the church, from young people to couples, families and the more mature. Each member of the Care Team has a heart for new Christians and has requested to take on this important responsibility. The Care Team work alongside the pastors Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper. find church huddersfield-try HCF | Top Directory |
