One lady speaking on the radio was asked what she hoped would change in the coming year. Her reply was that we need more comedy programmes because we all need to laugh more. Others wanted a change of government, some thought that getting out of Afghanistan would cheer us all up.......

Waterfront Quarter Huddersfield- Major New Development
Waterfront Quarter in Huddersfield is a major development scheme has been proposed on a triangle of land bounded by the River Colne, Chapel Hill and Manchester Road almost to Longroyd Bridge. The development is close to where the new HCF church in Huddersfield will be built.
This will place the HCF property in an influencial position for the future.
It is beyond question one of the biggest projects ever devised for the town. Perhaps we have to go back to the Piazza scheme for something of comparative impact.

Huddersfield Christian fellowship has been priviledged to build relationships with many churches across the world. HCF has sought to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, but also to demonstrate the practicality of the gospel by caring for the individual churches and their leaders. Pastor Colin Cooper has relationships with many church leaders across the globe, and initiates vists form teams at HCF.
MFE Ministers Fellowship Europe
MFE is an organisation which supports pastors and elders and is based on relationships. Colin Cooper is chairman of MFE.It is the European expression of Ministers Fellowship International or MFI which is based in Portland, Oregon USA click here to view MFI website.

Pastor Colin Cooper is chairman of MFE Europe and has built relationships with pastors throughout the Uk and the continent. Colin Cooper who pastors Huddersfield Christian Fellowship has a depth of experience in building churches, and regularily speaks at conferences all over the world. he is ably suppoerted by his wife Sue Cooper.

At HCF we pay a great deal of attention to our children. Not only do we recognise them as 'the future' but we also see the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the Bible through creative activities and constructive games.
We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated workers under the leadership of Derek & Charlotte Davis working under the pastors Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper.

HCF provides a range of support services for the students from Huddersfield University, recognising the importance of helping them establish new relationships, find new accommodation and deal with the issues of moving to a new location.

Musicians and worship teams

The choice and quality of musicians allows four 'worship teams' to work in rotation, producing quality, fresh and exciting worship for the congregation. The choice of musicianship ranges from Cello to Cornet, from saxaphone to flute and from trombone to trumpet.

HCF have been providing support and help to students over many years. Find out about our free student lunch on a Sunday, and other activities. Students enjoy fellowship and as it is non-denominational it allows them to bring friends from different faiths.

Liam & Denise Cox are responsible for the training and management of the HCF CARE TEAM. Under the guidiance of Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper.
All new people are important to us and we want them to leave HCF feeling loved and important, so we team them up with someone from the Care Team to show them around, answer any questions and make them feel welcome.

The HCF Care Team is made up of over 80 people within the church, from young people to couples, families and the more mature. Each member of the Care Team has a heart for new Christians and has requested to take on this important responsibility.The Care Team work alongside the pastors Colin Cooper & Sue Cooper.
HCF is a bible based church.The bible acts as our guide and light in these challenging times.
